ANRE certificate no. 19761 · Tip B

ANRE-certified company for electrical connections

For a grid connection, the ANRE certificate is not optional — it is the legal condition for the operator to accept the work and energise it. We are an ANRE-certified company for execution and design, covering Bucharest, Ilfov and Giurgiu.

What an ANRE-certified company means — and why it is mandatory

ANRE — the National Energy Regulatory Authority — grants companies a certificate giving them the legal right to design and/or execute electrical installations connected to the public grid. For an electrical connection, this certificate is mandatory: the distribution operator (Rețele Electrice România S.A.) will not accept in the dossier, nor energise, work executed by a non-certified firm.

In other words, however skilled an informal handyman may be, without an ANRE-certified company behind it your connection cannot be legalised. That is why the first thing you should ask any firm is its ANRE certificate number.

Certified company vs. authorised electrician — the difference

ANRE-authorised electrician

An individual who passed the ANRE exam and holds an authorisation grade (I–IV, A/B). They can carry out work, but cannot file the connection dossier with the operator on their own unless working through a certified company.

ANRE-certified company

A legal entity holding a company certificate and employing at least one authorised electrician. Only the certified company can design, file the dossier and officially execute the connection, end to end.

We are an ANRE-certified company and we have authorised electricians on the team — so we take the connection from dossier to energisation without sending you from one party to another.

How to check whether a company is really ANRE-certified

  1. Open the public ANRE portal: portal.anre.ro/publiclists/atestate ("List of energy agent certificates").
  2. Search by the company name or the certificate number they gave you.
  3. Check that it appears with a valid certificate for the type of work you need.
  4. Always ask for the certificate number before signing — a reputable firm gives it immediately, as we did above.

Frequently asked questions about ANRE certification

What does an ANRE-certified company mean?

An ANRE-certified company is a business authorised by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) to design and/or execute electrical installations, including grid connections. For an electrical connection to the public distribution network, using an ANRE-certified company is mandatory — the grid operator will not accept or energise work done by a non-certified firm.

Is bransam.ro an ANRE-certified company?

Yes. SUN WATT SRL holds ANRE Certificate no. 19761 (Tip B), for both execution and design of electrical installations. It was issued on 2023-06-28 and is valid until 2028-06-28. Anyone can verify it on the public ANRE portal.

Difference between an ANRE-certified company and an ANRE-authorised electrician?

They are different but complementary. An "ANRE-authorised electrician" is an individual who passed the ANRE exam and holds an authorisation grade (I–IV, A/B). An "ANRE-certified company" is a legal entity that holds a company certificate and employs at least one authorised electrician. For a legal connection you need a certified COMPANY — a lone authorised electrician without a company certificate cannot officially file and execute the connection dossier with the operator.

How do I check whether a company is really ANRE-certified?

Go to the public ANRE portal, the "List of energy agent certificates" section (portal.anre.ro/publiclists/atestate), and search by company name or certificate number. If the firm appears with a valid certificate, it is legally certified. Always ask for the certificate number before signing a contract.
